about me

From a young age, I have been attracted to competitive adventures. Whether it was sports, slot car racing, fishing, dog training… I was always asking myself how I could be the best at what I do. I found that in just about everything I did, surrounding yourself with the most knowledge possible ended in a positive outcome.

When I started training dogs, I found a trainer to learn from and that has never stopped to current day. Knowledge will always be our best friend. I’ve never met a trainer that I didn’t learn something from. I now want to be able to share some of the things I have learned in the last 20+ years with others.

After getting into Cocker Spaniels, I had never felt so at home with a type of training. Everything seemed to make sense in my head on how to work them. There is an intimate connection between dog and handler where everything happens right in front of you… I like that! I love watching the way a dog thinks, the way a dog moves, the way it learns to become confident in it’s own actions, and the way a dog and handler can be so connected with just body language and a light whistle. Spaniels create an infectious happiness in my soul, and I hope to develop and train 100 more along the way!
